Total No. of Collections: My collection consists of many DIECAST PLANES..100 PLUS (HOBBY MASTER @ 10))
Reasons for Collecting: I have been a airplane enthusiast for most of my life.I originally wanted to become a pilot in my younger years but that dream never happened!Next best thing was to collect many diecast planes ...some Commercial Airliners and Military . Once upon a time there was a AWESOME RCAF base here in EDMONTON,but it was moved to Winnipeg. I will always have fond memories of THE RCAF C-130 flying over head in their 3 plane formation.This happened all the time ,but don't venture to close to my MOMS house as the china would rattle her and the plates !! Other aircraft that were around then included CF-104,CF-101 VOODOO,BOEING 707 troop transport..and this bird would buzz the neighbourhood plus Shooting Star jets.....miss those days ! The EDMONTON BASE was also home to some of the best AIRSHOWS in CANADA.....
