Total No. of Collections: Our diecast aviation collection began with the HM 1/32 SBD to decorate our namesake company workspaces and has quickly grown to 250 or so aircraft, about 100 of which are HobbyMaster and Skymax.
Favorite HM Models : F3F, F4B, Helldiver, F9F, F-100C/D, F-4J, and, of course, the SBD Dauntless.
Most Expected Future Models: B-29/B-50 in 1/72. “Yellow Wings” USN aircraft, especially in 1/48 and larger. F4U Corsair and Mitsubishi Zero in 1/32. Mitsubishi A5M, Boeing Stearman, Sikorsky H-5 (HO3S-1), and Ilyushin IL-2 in 1/48. “Rare” USN, RN, and IJN aircraft (such as the SB2U, F3D, F3H, F4D, F-7U, F-11F, E-2, Firefly, J1N1, etc.), in any scale at least 1/72.
